HOW IT ALL STARTED
On November 1, 2020 Fellowship Bible Church Shenandoah was launched at 133 Benchoff Drive in Woodstock, VA. Here is how it all began...
In January of 1980, four families in Winchester began meeting together every day for six weeks to seek God’s guidance and direction in starting a new church in the Winchester area where vital worship, biblical learning, meaningful fellowship, and effective witnessing could be experienced and practiced. Soon those four families became eight, and Fellowship Bible Church was born.
The families of FBC outgrew their living rooms and began meeting in a restaurant, then an elementary school, and eventually in the current location at 3217 Middle Road, Winchester.

40 years later after years of explosive growth at FBC Winchester, the elders found that over 100 families were driving 30-45 minutes from Shenandoah County each week in order to make FBC their church home. The elders decided to expand, not the building, but the impact of the gospel through FBC into a new church plant in Shenandoah County.

On Sunday, November first, 2020 Fellowship Bible Church Shenandoah had it's first indoor, corporate gathering in our building in Woodstock. At that time, Don Den Hartog served by teaching and expositing the Word of God and Pastored at FBCS until the end of August 2022.

When Don and Patty Den Hartog were called away to serve in another church, FBCS was blessed with another gifted teaching Pastor, Dennis McNutt. Dennis and his wife, Ivette have been on staff since September.
