Be A Part of a Ministry Team
"For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness." Romans 12:4-8
Each Ministry team has a liaison that communicates with the other team members and elders.

Worship Ministry
The Worship Team will work closely with the teaching pastor in cultivating worship services that help lead the congregation to worship the Lord in spirit and truth. This team consists of vocalists, instrumentalists, AV and Production specialists.

Welcome Ministry
This team develops an environment that welcomes people from all levels of interaction, from looking from online, to first time visitors, to long-term attendees. Every opportunity is taken to encourage deeper fellowship.

Prayer Ministry
Oswald Chambers said, “Prayer is the greater work.” The Prayer Team will look for ways to encourage the congregation to pray corporately and individually for every aspect of the church, members and community.

Logistics
The Logistics Team get things done around the church. Setting up for worship services, making sure the building is clean and secure and safe, as well as helping those in the church who may need some help.

Caring Ministry
This team exists to support and care for members of FBC Shenandoah in meaningful, practical ways. We seek to serve individuals and families during times of need, including medical emergencies, surgery recovery, and significant life changes. Our ministry provides meals, assistance with minor home repairs, and transportation to appointments. We also offer visitation for those in hospitals or at home, a card ministry for encouragement, and funeral support. During times of loss, we can assist with arrangements, provide greeters and ushers for services, and help coordinate meals as needed.

Children's Ministry
Volunteers in the Children's church area partner with parents to train kids in the knowledge and love of Christ. We screen and train all volunteers to make sure our families are safe and servants are equipped.
